Thank you to all the wonderful people who helped to make this event such a great time of fellowship and good food. There were many highlights: The address to the Haggis, the piper and highland dancer, the singing, the readings, the food, and the people who attended. What great fun!

The ladies & the men of the Church both had luncheons this past week. Big thank you’s go out to Barb Love and Joan Jersch for organizing the ladies luncheon. A big thank you to Woldy for opening his home and feeding all the men as well. An enjoyable time was had by all.

A Visit from the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Canada
We look forward to the visit from the Moderator Rev. Dr. Stephen Farris (and his wife Patty) this November 7th, 8th, 9th, & 1oth. We at St. Andrew’s will have the opportunity to host them twice during their visit: at our Harvest Dinner Saturday the 8th and at a coffee hour on Monday the 10th. for more info or to help out please speak to Marlene Martens or Shirley Cochrane; if you are from out of town please phone the church at 250 832-7282 and leave a message.
