Our purpose is: “To live and share the Gospel, the saving, forgiving love of God in Jesus Christ.”
The following are links to various sites dealing with the Christian Church and same sex issues. It must be pointed out that these sites may or may not reflect the views of St Andrew’s Salmon Arm and The Presbyterian Church in Canada. Thank you to all the wonderful people who helped to make this event such a great time of fellowship and good food. There were many highlights: The address to the Haggis, the piper and highland dancer, the singing, the readings, the food, and the people who attended. What great fun!
We look forward to the visit from the Moderator Rev. Dr. Stephen Farris (and his wife Patty) this November 7th, 8th, 9th, & 1oth. We at St. Andrew’s will have the opportunity to host them twice during their visit: at our Harvest Dinner Saturday the 8th and at a coffee hour on Monday the 10th. for more info or to help out please speak to Marlene Martens or Shirley Cochrane; if you are from out of town please phone the church at 250 832-7282 and leave a message.
